our Story

A little bit about us…

Built in 1904, the Manufacturers Building once served as the administrative offices for five of the most important textile mills in Richmond County—Pee Dee Manufacturing Company, Steele's Mills, Roberdel Mills, Midway Mills, and Hannah Pickett Mills.

After acquiring the Manufacturer’s Building in 2020, local entrepreneurs Jill McLester and Travis Wallace quickly realized that this historic venue was much more than just an office building.

Jill, the owner of Pine and Palm Real Estate Group, and Travis, who leads Wallace General Contracting Inc., have long utilized the space for their own celebrations—from festive office Christmas parties to unforgettable graduation gatherings. Recognizing its charm and potential, they’ve now opened the doors for the community to enjoy.

Whether you're planning a corporate event, a milestone celebration, or a casual get-together, the Manufacturers Building is the perfect backdrop. With a blend of historic character and modern amenities, this venue is ready to make your event one to remember.
